Alessandro Bani was born in 1988 and began his professional career as a DJ in 2005 when he was only 16 years old. He discovered the passion for dance music in 2001, listening to the first radio programs dedicated to the hits of the moment. However, his interest in nightlife took place in the summer of 2004 among the renowned clubs of the Riviera Romagnola.

His musical genre encompasses everything that derives from house music. It goes from progressive to tech, with nuances of electronics capable of characterizing his DJ sets and leading him to conquer the dance floors throughout Italy and Europe, thanks to existing collaborations.

He collected multiple experiences as resident DJ from a very young age in the most renowned clubs in northern Italy, Brianza, and Milan. As a result, he began to offer his sound in high-end locations such as Hollywood, Luminal, Clubhouse, Cost, Beach Solair, Shocking, Sio Café, I-Club, Club Modá, Molto, Noir, and Bamboo.

In the summer of 2009, he decides to go beyond the ‘simple’ figure of the DJ by taking the ‘Music & Tech‘ course at the Alar Recording Studio in Parma. Here he expanded his musical knowledge and studied programs for the production and recording of live instruments, thus specifying his experience as a DJ accumulated over the years.

In 2010 it was the inflection point for him. Important productions and collaborations began to happen; he produced two singles and made three more remixes in just two years. The most important one with which he established himself in the dance scene and as a successful remixer is INNA – WOW (officially licensed remix on Ultra Music, SpinninRecords, Roton Music, and Do It Yourself).

With his friend and studio partner Davide Svezza, Sandro Bani produces: ‘I Can’t Wait‘, ‘I Can’t Stop‘ (remake of Sandy Rivera‘s hit ‘This Feeling‘), ‘SPANK!’ (Reinterpretation of the classic by Jimmy “Bo” Horne), the single ‘Magalenha‘ and the unreleased ‘Tonight‘.

Sandro Bani would act as resident DJ at Club 747 in Milan during the 2014-2015 winter seasons. He worked with guest DJs like Nari & Milani and DJ Sneak. Sandro Bani’s career was on the rise after the summer of 2015, during which he performed in the most famous clubs on the European scene.

Thanks to the collaboration with ScuolaZoo and his musical inspiration, the new season begins with the remix of ‘DJ Sava‘ and his song entitled ‘Bailando‘. It is exclusive to Cat Music‘s Romanian label, licensed for Italy by the Do It Yourself label.

In August 2015, he released on SONY, licensed by Do It Yourself, the ‘Twiga Compilation‘, direct from Flavio Briatore‘s famous clubs, Twiga Beach Club in Marina di Pietrasanta, and Twiga Montecarlo. This release compiles sounds of ‘tropical-house’ divided into two volumes (CD 1 mixed by Sandro Bani) and ‘future-house’ (CD 2 mixed by Davide Penna, resident DJ of the renowned club).

In September 2015, Sandro Bani released his new EP ‘Music Sounds Better With You‘ on Do It Yourself label; a ‘nu-disco’ reinterpretation of the same name song that went around the world thanks to the ‘Stardust‘ project. It contains the remix in the key of ‘progressive house’ by Stefano Pain.

The Sio Café in Milan had Sandro Bani as resident DJ in the winter season 2015-2016 (in the main room), a collaboration that would end in the second half of 2019. He delighted in managing themed evenings alternating house music with dance and Latin house for several nights a week, going through the 70s and 80s with unpredictable rock and pop influences. The studio work continued; unpublished official remixes were produced, and the collaboration with the artistic staff of ScuolaZoo was more and more solid.

His first production of 2016 awaited him; on May 20, he released the single ‘Sandro BaniLIFE‘ on the Glitter record label (sub-label of Do It Yourself), characterized by sounds taken from the evolution of house music with respectable voices: Barbara Tucker, Su Su Bobien, Dawn Tallman, Sabrynaah Pope, and Michelle Weeks.

The evenings grew steadily, as did the official releases and various bootlegs. New Year 2017 saw Sandro Bani at the console in St. Trop, The Beach Club in Lloret de Mar, and The Room in Barcelona.

It was characterized by sounds that have contributed to writing the history of clubhouse music.

In 2020 and 2021, with the closure of clubs and the impossibility of participating in festivals due to covid-19, Sandro Bani focuses mainly on private parties and exclusive events. Jackpot Records is constantly growing; new record projects like VOODOO and Funk The Sound gain support from international artists, including JOEL CORRY and XENIA GHALI.

Sandro Bani is on the right track. Being the protagonist of a new musical trend, his future seems to promise more and more success.

En él grabó el remix de ‘Get Up Get Down Get Funky Get Loose’ de LEXA HILL.
